Invitation

Dear Colleague,

“There is so much we can do for heart failure, and what we will do goes beyond a congress.”

Education (and Training)

  • To convey the rapidly evolving scientific advancements in heart failure in a distilled and comprehensible manner
  • To explore the nuances and “between-the-lines” insights of the latest guidelines and major studies
  • To demonstrate how evidence-based medicine can be applied to real-life practice through case examples
  • To provide tips on how to individualize treatment according to the patient’s phenotype
  • To address how to manage comorbid conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and chronic kidney disease
  • To discuss how to manage risk factors such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, obesity, and inflammation in outpatient settings in order to prevent heart failure in Stage A and B patients
  • To emphasize the importance of heart failure within the context of the cardiorenal metabolic syndrome; how to recognize and treat cardiorenal metabolic syndrome, and how to implement a multidisciplinary approach
  • To discuss the use and interpretation of biomarkers and multimodality imaging methods in the diagnosis and follow-up of heart failure
  • To deliberate on the gray zones of interventional procedures with the participation of experienced mediators and practitioners
  • In addition to pharmacological therapies, to address:
o The definition, management, and ablation approaches of arrhythmic events, and key points of ICD, CRT, and left bundle branch pacing applications
o Surgical and percutaneous intervention approaches for valvular heart diseases
o Early diagnosis of patients with advanced heart failure who may be candidates for left ventricular assist devices or heart transplantation, and identifying which patients should be referred to advanced centers
  • To review new drugs, devices, biomarkers, and artificial intelligence applications related to heart failure
  • To include hands-on training modules that extend beyond the lecture halls into the exhibition areas

Speaker Profile

  • Experienced national and international academic cardiologists who have a deep understanding of the past and future of heart failure and can share their clinical experience in the light of scientific evidence
  • Distinguished national and international academic cardiovascular surgeons who are devoted to the field of heart failure and have extensive experience in left ventricular assist devices and heart transplantation

A Congress Bringing Together the International Scientific Community with Cardiologists from Our Country and the Region

  • Our third congress will be held on October 1–4, 2026, in collaboration with one of the world’s most prestigious societies — the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT, https://www.ishlt.org) — and the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, at Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul, the world’s most beautiful city connecting the continents of Europe and Asia.
  • More than twenty internationally recognized academic leaders in the field of heart failure will join us.
  • The full texts/abstracts of the presentations will be published in print in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI).

We cordially invite you to the 3rd International Eurasian Heart Failure Congress, which will be meticulously organized by three major societies.
Your participation will be our strength.

Stay in good health, with love and science…

On behalf of the Congress Organizing Committee,
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Temizhan
President, Eurasian Heart Failure Society
